One of the most widely talked about keno strategies is how many numbers that a player should have on their keno ticket. Of course the amount of numbers on your keno card is going to be dependant on what you’re allowed to bet on where you play. The more numbers you bet on when you play keno the more money you can potentially win on your ticket. The chance of hitting all your numbers is a lot harder when you have a big amount of numbers though. In order to gain the edge on the house you need to analyze the payout tables to form your keno strategy. For instance, when you play a 7-11 number keno ticket you need to hit 3 numbers in order to win some money. It’s a lot simpler to hit 3 numbers when you have 11 numbers when compared to only 7 numbers so the better keno strategy is obviously to play 11 numbers on your ticket instead of 7, 8, 9 or 10.

There are no keno strategies that you can use when picking numbers because every number is drawn at random. If you play online then keno is played with a random number generator and there is no way to predict any patterns when picking keno numbers. You should just pick your own lucky set of numbers and I would recommend playing the same set of numbers for awhile instead of changing them every time. Since any number has the same chance to show up as any other number there are no numbers that have a better chance at showing up.

Generally a good strategy when you play keno is to play some small keno tickets and then some big keno tickets. If you have a couple tickets with only 3-4 numbers then you’ll have a good shot of at least breaking even on the round of keno. The reason you’ll also want to mix in some tickets with a big amount of numbers is so that you can have the chance to potentially hit the jackpot. To win the jackpot you need to hit every one of your numbers on a 15 number ticket so the odds are very slim, but you can win a lot of money if you get lucky.
